Aculab Prosody S HMP cards, Prosody X PCI  media cards and host media processing software now have a competitor with Retell's Sense range of telecommunications software and hardware for IVR development.

The same hardware can be a passive high impedance recorder, or offer fully active line control with the ability to dial towards the network, dial towards the PABX, answer inbound  or outbound calls, hang up calls, answer specific DDIs (for recording mobile conference legs for use with software such as Voxsmart), play audio to the caller or to the agent or both, detect DTMF. Ideal as a the interface card for diallers, recorders, IVRs or recorded announcement devices.
